Welcome to the Global Forest Atlas, a project of the Global Institute of Sustainable Forestry at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. The Global Forest Atlas highlights issues facing the world’s forests, with a current focus on the two largest tropical forest regions of the world, the Amazon basin and the Congo basin. Use the top navigation to read an overview of global forest issues, and use the side navigation to select the Amazon and Congo regions and topics within.
